Virtual Open House, June 17
Join us for a virtual Open House, on Friday, June 17, from noon to 1pm CST, if you are a licensed practitioner or clinical supervisor who is interested in expanding and updating your clinical skills, enriching care provided to clients, and wanting to enhance your overall practice. Hear directly from our faculty as we discuss and answer questions about this unique one-year intensive certificate training program that emphasizes practical application through skill-building techniques, and features case studies that illustrate training examples and methods. Learn how you too can learn about the most current theory, techniques and research in attachment, neurobiology, shame and trauma--all while being able to maintain full-time professional practices.
RSVP here to reserve your spot at the virtual open house. Or, if you have questions regarding the program in advance, contact Katelyn Tippett at 866.258.8222 or email ktippett@luc-iap.com. All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Amazon gift card.

Advanced Certificate Training Program for Licensed Clinicians
The Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy at Loyola University Chicago invites licensed therapists to participate in a comprehensive year-long training experience where you will deepen and refine your therapeutic skills. Regardless of where you are on the learning curve of applied clinical practice, this innovative program offers new and challenging ways to both stretch your critical thinking and increase your proficiency and confidence as a therapist.
Increasing cultural sensitivity around issues of power, privilege, and marginalization is an integral part of our training interaction. |
What Makes This Program Different?
Sure, we do offer continuing education for CEUs, but more importantly, we provide a career defining experience. Sound dramatic? That's because it is. At the Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy, we explore multiple theoretical disciplines and guide you to deeply integrate psychodynamic theory into your daily practice. This is accomplished using our exclusive practice model based on the latest scientific evidence that supports the importance of attachment as it shapes development, defense structures and the neurological impact of trauma.
Through the unique structure of this program, faculty are able to more intimately connect with students to support the development of each participant's unique style while providing a new lens for which to conceptualize and treat cases. Ultimately, students experience a real sense of community and gain a professional support network with faculty and other program participants that lasts long after the year-long program comes to an end.
